New selection 2016

Our 'Hooked on Books' selection is designed to entice event the hardest to reach readers. There are no magic wands to to turn ‘reluctant readers’ into avid readers, but these tried and tested books have proved popular and have kick started the reading journey for many of the children that we work with at Just Imagine. Making an attractive display of these ‘must have’ books in your school or class library is the first step to engaging both girls and boys who are less likely to pick up a book to read for pleasure.

Our Upper Key Stage 2 selection includes high interest topics, visual texts, humour, sport stories and short reads, and mouthwatering non-fiction for young to pore over.

M G Leonard interviewed by Graham Marks


M.G. Leonard has a first class honours degree in English Literature and an MA in Shakespeare Studies from Kings College London. She works in London as the senior Digital Media Producer for the National Theatre, and previously worked at The Royal Opera House and Shakespeare’s Globe. Leonard spent her early career in the music industry running Setanta Records, an independent record label, and managing bands, most notably The Divine Comedy. After leaving the music industry, she trained as an actor, dabbling in directing and producing as well as performing before deciding to write her stories down…
